Brodyr y Glannau #1 - #6,
The pictures of ships are titled Brethren of the Coast, the name the pirates gave their utopian society in the Caribbean. A society of which Harry Morgan, Rhymney Cardiff, was an important member. Pablo Neruda’s house in La Isla Negra is packed full of ships’ figureheads and directly behind his seat at the dinner table sits a bust of Harry Morgan whose buccaneering spirit he channeled. These pictures of ships holds were taken in Newport Docks, built by the Morgan family
These are vessels of dreams.
